Green Card Request

1 Important Information
2 Policy Details
3 Vehicle Details
4 Where to send the Green Card

  • Important Information

Green Cards requested through this form are for clients that have a live insurance policy through Graham Sykes Limited.

Green Cards will only be issued for policies that are inforce whilst you are travelling through the EU. If your policies renewal date falls whilst you are within the EU, you must renew the policy with Graham Sykes Ltd before we can issue a Green Card for the dates from the renewal date. Alternatively if you have renewed with another company, you must request the Green Card from the renewal date from your new insurance broker.

If you will be towing a trailer on your journey and this is over 750kg or braked (e.g. articulated trailer, caravan, horse box) you will need a separate Green Card for this trailer.

Note: The Green Card is required to evidence the minimum liability cover provided by the policy for travel in these territories. It does not alter or extend the cover for the insured vehicle. Please check your policy documents carefully to ensure you have the cover you require. Please contact us if you have any queries.

A Green Card will only be valid if:

    • Printed as a physical document on any shade of green paper AND
    • Printed as a single, double sided document
If you can’t print in this format you can ask Graham Sykes to print the Green Card using this form and we will post it to you, however, please allow up to 30 days for receipt of your printed Green Card as these may need to be posted to us from your insurer before we can post them to you.

  • Green Card Charges

Graham Sykes Limited class issuing a Green Card, either via email or post, as a Mid Term Adjustment which will incur a £16 charge for each Green Card that is issued. Once we have received your Green Card Request we will contact you to take payment before we issue the document.

  • We just need you to confirm you are happy to proceed and that you confirm you have read and understood the above statements.

You can only use this facility to request a Green Card that falls within the current period of insurance.
