We define Amateur Theatre (including Operatic, Dramatic, Musical, Panto, Dance, Performance) as a performance organised, performed or arranged by anyone who is not accepting or offered money for their services. There maybe situations where a group or society may be required to pay for additional services or equipment, however, primarily the organisation or performance would be not for profit with the majority of participants not taking an income.
Although productions are given the term “amateur” we understand that many shows and performances are far from such and have developed a policy to be flexible enough to meet the demands and needs of today’s modern group.
Stage Safe Insurance has been specifically designed to meet the normal demands and needs of Community Theatre Groups and at the same time is competitively priced. Why not get an Online Quote here and see how competitive our premiums are.
